Incorporated in 1897 Bonheur ASA together with subsidiaries and affiliated companies are involved in a number of activities in Norway and internationally, based on shipping, offshore services and renewable energy. The investments, which are largely carried out jointly with the subsidiary Ganger Rolf ASA, are related to the following main segments:
Energy Services
Offshore drilling: 53.4% ownership in Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (stocklisted).
Floating production: 61,5% ownership in Fred. Olsen Production ASA (stocklisted).
Renewable Energy
Primarily wind power operated by the 100% owned
Fred. Olsen Renewables AS, engaged in a number of wind farm projects.
Transportation and Leisure
Cruise: Primarily the 5 cruise vessels operated by the 100% owned subsidiary
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Ltd.Tankers: 100% ownership of
First Olsen Ltd., i.a. 1 suezmax tankers.
Other Shipping activities: ownership of 49.6% in
OceanLink Ltd. Other Investments
Media: 33.4% of NHST Media Group AS, which publishes i.a. the business newspaper Dagens Næringsliv.
Property: The office building in Fred. Olsens gate 2, Oslo, Stavnes Byggeselskap AS and a shareholding of 13.4% in IT Fornebu Eiendom AS.
Fish Farming: 35.6% of the shares in Genomar AS, a company developing brood stock of Tilapia.
